Terms of Service

Welcome to Crystal Coast Sanctuary! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your stay at our property and use of our services, whether booked directly or through a third-party platform. By making a reservation, you agree to comply with these Terms.
1. Booking & Payment

Reservation Confirmation: A reservation is confirmed once 50% payment is received and a confirmation email is sent.

Payment Terms: 50% deposit required at the time of booking, 50% due before checkin.

Accepted Payment Methods: We accept Venmo, credit/debit cards (3% processing fee added), checks, or cash
2. Check-In / Check-Out

Check-In Time: 2pm

Check-Out Time: 11am
Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request for possible additional fee.
3. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation Policy: 100% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in. 50% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations less than 14 days notice before check-in.

No-Show Policy: No-shows will be charged the full amount of the stay.
4. Guest Responsibilities
Guests agree to:

Treat the property and its contents with care and respect.

Follow all posted rules and local ordinances.

Not exceed the agreed-upon number of guests.

Report any damages or issues promptly.

Not host parties or events unless expressly approved in writing.
5. Property Use

No Smoking Policy: Smoking (includes vaping) is not permitted inside the house or sanctuary. A fee will be charged for violations.

Pet Policy: NO pets allowed.

Quiet Hours: 11 PM to 7 AM to respect neighboring properties.
6. Sanctuary Space (Optional Add-On)
Access to the 1,400 sq. ft. sanctuary space is available for an additional $400/night and must be reserved in advance. Use of this space must be respectful, and all equipment/furniture must be returned to its original configuration after use.
7. Liability Disclaimer
Crystal Coast Sanctuary is not liable for:

Personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during your stay.

Accidents or injuries on the premises, including outdoor areas, unless caused by gross negligence on our part.

Weather-related cancellations, travel disruptions, or unforeseen events beyond our control.
8. Damages & Fees
Guests are responsible for any damages caused during their stay. Additional cleaning, repair, or replacement costs may be charged if the property is left in poor condition.
9. Privacy
We respect your privacy. We have exterior only cameras at entrances for everyone’s safety. Please review our [Privacy Policy] for details on how we collect and protect your information.
10. Termination of Stay
We reserve the right to remove guests who violate these Terms, engage in disruptive behavior, or break house rules—without a refund.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
